SURUGA SEIKI CO., LTD. on a base of leading-edge precision processing technologies,develops and manufactures press die components, plastic mold components, factory automation (FA) related products, optical-related devices, and ultraprecise die components. As a member of the MISUMI Group Inc., SURUGA SEIKI works in close coordination with MISUMI Corporation, a machinery component trading company. Together, we are taking steps to accelerate operational development with fully integrated production and marketing, such as facilitating improvements in QCT . quality, cost, and time . and taking on the challenge of advancing into new fields.
OST DIVISION
The Optical & Scientific Technology Division develops and manufactures optical testing and research equipment, such as optical axis alignment units and systems and optical measurement and testing equipment, for public research institutions and major electronic equipment manufacturers.

Operations in the OST Division are founded on SURUGA SEIKI¡Çs precision processing technology capable of alignment at the micron level. Over the past twenty years, the Division has continued to provide highly competitive products to such markets as optical equipment . a growth area . flat panels, semiconductors, and electronic components. In Japan, the OST Division holds a share of more than 30% of the domestic market for positioning stages, which are indispensable for precision-work positioning, and the Division is achieving high growth by rapidly expanding its overseas operations, particularly in Europe, the United States, and Asia.In addition, the Division is developing application systems that are key components of positioning systems.
